A 9V 1000mA Non-isolated Switching Regulator:

This 9V 1000mA Non-isolated Switching Regulator has an efficiency of up to 94%. Designed for step-down operation this regulator has an input voltage range of 13 – 36VDC. The output features low ripple and noise of typically 25mV P-P (20Mhz) and has continuous short circuit protection as standard.

In addition to providing a positive output these regulators can also be connected to provide a negative output. For negative outputs the input range and output current change, full details on the data sheet.

These parts are supplied in an a miniature package with a standard SIP3 footprint that is compatible with LM78 series linear regulators. Unlike linear regulators these devices do not require a heatsink as very little energy is dissipated as heat. The case is manufactured from UL94-V0 black plastic and weighs 1.8g. Dimensions are1.8g. Dimensions are 11.6 x 7.55 x 10.16mm. The operating temperature range is -40 to +85?C and cooling is by Free air convection.

These switching regulators are widely used in distributed power systems and meet UL/EN/IEC62368-1. Applications may include battery systems, renewable energy, data acquisition, telecom, industrial control systems, wireless networks and IoT devices.
