This 392V 4500W Power Factor Correction Module is rated for an output current of 11.83A with typical efficiency of 96.5%. This unit provides a power factor of typically 0.99 at 115VAC input and 230VAC input. Output ripple and noise is typically 7V P-P (20MHz bandwidth) at 115VAC input at full load and 12V P-P (20MHz bandwidth) at 230VAC input at full load. In addition to the main output a stand-by power supply of 12V 100mA is available.
A number of alarm systems are included within this module for enhanced operation. They include I/P under voltage alarm, input over voltage alarm, AC fail alarm, O/P under voltage alarm and O/P over voltage alarm.
These power supplies feature a universal AC mains input of 90 – 264VAC, 47 – 63Hz. These units may also be powered from a DC source in the range of 120 – 370V.
A Modbus communication system is included to provide measurements of the AC voltage and operating temperature.
This module weighs 1230g with dimensions of 280 x 75 x 63.5mm. The operating temperature range is -25 to +70°C and cooling is by internal fans with intelligent control and monitoring.
They meet safety standard to EN/IEC62368-1. These power supplies are suitable for a wide range of applications where their addition provides the required PFC function and significantly reduces design lifecycle.
