400W Medical Desktop Adapter Power Supplies:

This series of 400W Medical Desktop Adapter Power Supplies are primarily designed for medical applications but may also be used for ITE requirements.

These products feature a Universal AC Input of 90 – 264VAC, 47 – 63Hz with a power factor of >0.90 (230VAC, full load). The input is provided via an IEC320-C14 (Class I) connector.

These products have single outputs in the range 12 – 48V DC. They meet the efficiency requirements of DOE LEvel VI and EU ErP with typical average efficiency >87.5%. The no load power consumption is <0.5mW. The output features low ripple and noise (300mV p-p Max). They have in-built protection for OCP, OVP and SCP, output regulation is +5%/-5%.

These power supplies meet medical safety requirements to EN60601-1 (2 x MOPP) and general safety to IEC/EN/ETL62368-1 with UL, CSA, TUV and CB approvals. They are suitable for BF applications with a touch current of <100uA. The range complies with EMC standards EN60601-1-2 ed4:2014 and ed4:2015, EN55011, EN55032 Class B, EN55035 Class B, FCC Part 15 Class B and FCC Part 18 Class B.

The operating temperature range is -20 to +60°C (derate linearly 2.5% per degree from 41 to 60 degrees) making these products suitable for indoor use.

This unit has dimensions of 222 x 112 x 45mm and features a black plastic case.  This range has a 800mm output cable which can be fitted with a range of industry standard plugs. In addition to standard connectors these units can also be supplied with a bare ended output cable.

This series of 400W Medical Desktop Adapter Power Supplies are designed to cover a wide range of modern applications. These include, but are not limited too, medical devices, office equipment, IoT devices, gadgets and consumer products. For higher volume requirements output voltage and connectors can be changed to suit requirement.
